Changed the main relay, can't bolt it up because the threads are stripped.

Changed the fuel pump. ECU Fuse was blown so I replaced it and the fuel pump still doesn't kick on.

Is there a FUSE for the fuel pump? I cannot find it for the life of me.

I thought the "fuse" is the main relay. Not sure though

edit: I remember the same thing happened to my friend, and I fucked with the black fuses under the hood and it just worked. I was like WTF?

If it has an srs system, it's one of the two fuses in the srs subfuse box on the upper right side of the under dash fuse box.

 

where is the fuse box located at?- i have a 96 ex

 

My friend had the same problem and it turned out to be the ACG fuse in the underdash fuse box.

Im pretty sure hardware shops have them, auto stores, junk yards, friends cars. not hard to find. I just had the same problem in my '95 hatch. I ended up having to change the under driver side dash fuse box and the one under the hood. I have a ton of fuses now that are missing. I would ask a friend for one and then put it in and try it incase that thats not the problem.

we arent even sure what your problem is so I cant really tell you what you will have to do. hit one thing at a time and try to do this stuff my process of elimination. get that fuse for the fuel pump from a friend like I said. if that doesnt work then just swap parts with a friends car one day so you know their **** works. when you get to the point where the pump primes then you know what you have to replace.

change any fuse that is shorted and change it with the same AMP rating one... for the fuel pump i think it's 25AMPs... good luck

 

nice... i was searching for the fuel pump fuse this morning and couldnt find ****... i will look into this and buy one today

EDIT: wheres the main relay located ???

 

92-95 civics it's right next to the fuse box in above and in front of the hood opener...

if yours works sometimes, turn the ignition to ON and listen from where the click is coming from... it's on driver's side under dash

for 96-00, i'm not too sure... but i think it's in the same location

he's right. check the ACG fuse. it will give symtpons of a bad fuel pump or main relay. it's under the dash, should just be labled ACG on the diagram

 

I changed that fuse with a brand new one, changed the main relay with a new one, new pump.

I'm thinking I burned out my ECU because I wired up o2 that same day? Maybe I got the two black wires mixed up. Any ideas?

 

i've been reading up on this and my car dies a few times and the fuel pump doesnt prime... due to the fact that i have a dry spot in the main relay

 

Well I have a new main relay and I tried a P06 ECU on it. Still doesn't prime....
