Default d16z6 swap HELLLLPPPP PLEASE IDLE IS REALLY BAD

hey guys im new to swaping motors. but me and my dad swapped in a d16z6 into my 92 cx. everything went smooth but when we started it up the idle was messed, it wennt up and down from 1k to 2k rpm. i cant seem to fix the problems. we changed out the tps and the idle steady out but it idles at 2500 rpm. wat could be the problem? please help me out. Im runing the si harness and a p28. if you guys could help me out it would be great thanks.

can some one help me? ive replaced the the throttle body gasket, still nothing, check for leaks. still idles at 2500 rpms. PLEASE HELP???

Clean out your iac valve... ALso check the throttle cable, make sure its moving smoothly and letting the throttle body close as much as it should.

^^agreed and double check the the map and tps plugs are mixed up

Check for any vaccuum lines that may not have been hooked up put your finger over the end to see if the idle drops. If you can not find where it goes just plug it with something.

if none of those opinions worked i bet you have a automatic intake manifold i cant remember what the difference is but you have to convert something to three wire instead of two wire i just cant remember maybe someone will finish what i started to say
