i would just have someone wet-sand and reshoot it with clear. BUt 3M has several products that will bring back the shine. IF i find the topic here i will repost it for u
my old vis hood did the exact same thing. i dont think theres anyway you can fix it. ive tried everything possilbe except wet sand. it was gonna cost too much for that. all i can say is get you another hood for the price your gonna pay to get it wet sanded.

i tried the 3m thing (thread linked above), and it did a temporary trick, and didn't quite give the luster i had hoped for.
a few months later, i decided to just use some higher qualty products, and found the results i was looking for. pretty much, just have the hood professionally detailed, or buy a random orbital buffer and have at it:
use a good polish (i used poorboy's professional polish), and it should take most of the blemish out and restore a lot of the shine that's currently lacking.

Maybe we all need to write to VIS because all the hoods i see that are doing this are from that company. Mine did it to and i have wet sanded it and everything, but i never tried this stuff so i think i will. I guess the best advice i can give is wax that hook like 1's a month.
