ford's suck seriously but i nicer engine in at least ...but still dont see the point
I have heard some of the sickest sounding V-8's come out of the 5.0 mustangs. Im a 4 cylinder 10,000 RPM fan, but V-8's sound awesome too, plus have more potential then a 4 cylinder, dont think this point is arguable though... That would be cool though, an S2000 with a V-8, Best chassis and handling, with an even faster motor than stock.... good luck speninding a shat load of money to make it work though....
There is a guy here in OKC that bought the kit to put a Ford 351 in a Focus. I saw it when he got done. That noise shouldn't come from that car
Actually, haven't spent a dime on it. Even after parting out the car and selling only bits and pieces of what was parted out, I'm only $800 negative from what I paid for the S2000 itself.
I'll make the $800 up quite quickly once I sell the soft top, the dashboard, the seats, the 2 sets of OEM wheels that came with the car, the wire harnesses, the headlights, the HID setup, the rear end (except the diff/diff housing), the susension, control arms,.....you get the idea.
The Ford motor, tranmission, and rear-end came from a donor Mustang that was rusted out, but the driveline was fine. **Freebie**
The four-link was donated by someone at Ford (thank goodness for family on the wife's side that are execs over at Ford in Michigan). **Freebie**
Total monster-tally: $5000 for car.

Also, for those that think this is an abomination, I kept one of my S2000s in close to pure form:
Not the best picture....oh well.

Actually the reason I'm doing this is because the original thought on the car was to part everything off of it and just cut the frame up.
The accident wasn't bad at all. So at the shop the car was sitting at, the head hill-billy mechanic stated that he thought he could fit a small block V8 in the engine bay. We talked about it and I told him to go for it...just to see if he could do it.
Not more than 2 days later, I get a call. He told me the motor is in. I thought he meant mocked up and in....but when I got to the shop, the mounts were made, and the motor was REALLY in. He managed to keep all the bracing but will have to cut up the sub-frame components to get a manual steering rack in.

yeah you dont have to justify /explain yourself
the car was gonna be trashed anyways i wanted to see the fabrication work.. thats awesome stuff. take pics
like mentioned above, pulling up next to an s2k and hearing 5.0 pushrod blurble blurble would freak me the f**K out.. even more if the rear was tubbed.
