'88 Honda Civic HB Clutch How-to?
I'm thinking about buying a 1988 Honda Civic Hatchback, $100. The car runs great, but the clutch is bad. Now the question:
I've never changed a clutch out before in my life...Could anyone direct me to a how-to? I'd be buying an Exedy OEM clutch kit with Pressure Plate, Organic Disc, Throwout Bearing, Bushing, and Alignment tool.
Oh yeah, does the Flywheel need to be replaced as well (or resurfaced)? How much does a flywheel resurfacing cost or can I do it myself? I'm not intending on keeping the stock engine for long, will swap to a B16 at a later date with the help of my father.
Thanks,
Richard

Pull the axles, disconnect the shift linkage, pull the starter, drain and drop the trans, unbolt the pressure plate, unbolt the flywheel, take the flywheel to a machine shop to get resurfaced, and then do everything in reverse order to get it back together. Since you've never done it before, it will probably take you 4-5 hours, minus the resurfacing time.
Thats a basic overview, let me know if you need any more detail.

Let the car cool down. Disconnect the battery. Loosen the lug nuts. Chalk the back wheels. Jack up the front of the car. Put it on jack stands. Then do all the other stuff:
