Before i get bashed on SEARCH.. i DID.. and nothing came up!!!

So, my light came on today and is on... my car is running PERFECT, all the fluids/everything is filed up and i got about only 49kmiles...

did the car spot something wrong ??? or is this just acuras way of saying "hey come bring me in sucker so we can make some $$"

Also, is there a way to reset this annoying light.

There is a button under the dash by your right knee.

 

when you turn the ignition on, and the maintenance light comes on, reach under the dash on the right side and press the button for about 10 seconds. The light will go off.

Hmm... i cant seem to find that button?? where exactly?? behind the steering wheel colum where all the electronics are??

Hmm..kinda dark now so maybe il wait for tommorw... unless anyone has an pics??? !

its under the panel that is under the steering column, feel along the edge there is a small box with a button on it.... same panel that the fuse door snaps into

I just put a little piece of electrical tape over the light and not worry about it.

It's not a check engine light, it's a "maintenance required" light. It means nothing, just that it might be time for an oil change or you forgot to reset the light last time.

Maybe its the trial member thing or something, but SERIOUSLY i spelt maintenance about 3 different ways even incase any "spelling-bees" out there brought it up ! ahahahaha... 0 results :\

PS- my oil light has been on for the past 2 weeks and my engine is choking after 3k rpms.. what can be the problem guys???
