converting non vtec ecu's to vtec
I recently swaped a d15b vtec in my car and found out I can add the resistors and trancistors on my p06 for like 10.00 bucks rather than buying a p28, so I went to Frys to look for the parts but the girl that was working there had no idea how to look for them or what they are. has anybody done this on here before, and were did you get the parts?
Did you try radio shack for the parts? there all conviently labled in those packages, might cost you a bit more but hey you got the right parts. Id like to know how you do that myself btw.
pretty easy stuff if you have the parts, if you've chipped uberdata or crome yourself this is cake. most boards already have the place where the vtec stuff is supposed to go but it doesn't have the resistors on them, just fill in the blanks. just need to know where people get the parts but no one seems to know.

thanks man, the motor works great but I can feel the loss of power on higher rpms, i got all my turbo parts too, soon to be boosted but I want to see how the vtec feels na first.

that would be so great, like i said i have two non vtec ecu's and i would only think there is like a resister or two that is different....i could save myself a lot of money and make for much easier uberdata tuning
