Default TPS SENSOR PROBLEMS

Ok when i was replacing the clutch i roped up the engine, and without looking i tightened it and broke the damn tps sensor off, now i have another one, and i had to replace the rivet screws with real screws to make life 10x easier.. now its all replaced and i reset the ecu... STILL code 7? WTF! m8? anyone help?

Well, you don't just bolt it and drive away.
It has to be set back to OEM specs. This is how you do it. You will need a multy tester/ meter and set it to volts DC with a range no greater than 5 volts. Don't worry about the range if you can't adjust that.
Now, cut a small window on the insulation at the middle wire at the TPS plug.
loosen the screws a bit.
turn the ign. key to II ( you should see all the dash lights come on, but don't start the engine )
Put the + lead of the meter at the middle wire on the TPS plug where you cut the window.
Put the - lead of the meter on a good engine ground.
Now adjust the TPS so it reads close to .45 volts at idle. Don't move the throttle .
Once you have it there, tighten the screws and double check that the voltage didn't change when you tightened the screws.
That should do it.

I think you mean 0.5 Volts at idle and 4.5V at WOT.

Yeap that was a typo. I set them to .45 volts, not 4.5 volts.
