On a RWD car they are wheelie bars. On a FWD car they are traction bars. If you call them wheelie bars all know what you mean.

Tires are 26x10. On a fwd car the bars prevent front end lift by creating a very stiff structure. Rwd cars use wheelie bars with springs to absorb the shock produced on the launch and to prevent lifitng the front end too much.

1.5" X .090 wall for the upper supports and 1" X .090 for the lower bars.
