what D swap should i get for turbo/uberdata applications??

id say either the z6 or y8, whichever u can find cheaper, just my two cents

Hey guess what you're not a mod and he was asking for opinions not how to do the swap. No need to be a jackass. And I say the z6 or y8. Z6 if you're already obd1 and the y8 if you're already obd2. I had a y8 turbo untuned with afchack it was fun while it lasted....definately get it tuned

 

I thought you D series guys just got whatever was cheapest, ran it until it blew up, and then replaced it with another cheap D series? sounds like fun to me

 

That's pretty much how it works.. plus, 1 cam is weight reduction.

 

well im running a Y8 and its running smooth, and ive seen a few guys with problems with the z6, so Y8 plus its just a little better....

so what do you guys say? get the Z6 ?

what about the "ZC"? nobody mantiond anything about it..... i can get all three engines for the same price.

 

are you worried about being street legal in CA?
