there are two places on the back of the housings. there will be a hole for a screwdriver. just look down in the hole and you will see two gears. the screwdriver goes there and you adjust the lights vertically or horizontally. two places on the housing like i said.

i see the 2 gears and they adjust horizontally but i cant get them to go vertically...

I cant even get the ******* gears to turn. on my 99 there are 2 gears, but they arent set up for a phillips head driver, that is for certain. I tried a bunch of allen keys and they dont work either. 1/8 is too big, and 3/32 is too small. Anyone have a pic of the back of the headlight or can let me know of a proper driver to use to adjust the lights?

Look carefully and you will see a spot leading to the gears where you can slide a philips screwdriver in. Keep turning even though it doesn't seem like the light is adjusting.
