These are JE's FSR (forged side relief) application. We wanted the lightest piston possible, but forgot to order the 3d undercrown and shelf mill options when we got our last custom set from CP:

The CP order had already been put through and it was too late, so we gave a call to JE and they were happy to oblige the request and turned around this custom order.

This piston has an 8.554 dome cc and will net a 12.86:1cr with our 88mm stroke. Since we are using the Ti rods and Castillo crankshaft - we wanted to make sure the piston was light too. We went from CP's 327g to CP's to JE's 283g - 44g difference. We're waiting on our new Western Wristpins which should be ready tomorrow to complete the package. We'll be dropping considerable weight there too.

For reference the stock K20A(2) piston rod combo is ~950g w/o wristpin. Our new combo will be ~602g.
