Default Custom K-series CP piston: 90mm

These pistons were made for the Cunningham Ti rods in this thread:

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1188287

and to go with this crank:

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1195734

We ordered these to be 12.5:1 with an 88mm crank. CP doesn't list dome cc on their spec sheet, so we measured the dome for ***** and giggles. Guess what... you get what you order from CP.

This particular set weighs 327g. It can be lightened substantially with 3d undercrown CNC milling. As is though, it weighs less than a stock 86mm piston ~335g.

This same piston will net the following static compression ratios for each displacement:

12.28:1
90mm x 86mm = 2188cc

12.54:1
90mm x 88mm = 2239cc

12.898:1
90mm x 90.7mm = 2308cc

13.2:1
90mm x 93mm = 2367cc

13.987:1
90mm x 99mm = 2519cc

He's measuring CC's.

The outer ring isn't part of the piston if that's what you were thinking.

These particular pistons have a 1.041" CH. The wristpin has been moved up 0.140" from stock to accomodate the long rod and additional stroke for the intended combination.

Looking good.
Those pistons, some of those IPS cams that I have heard tell of, a little tuning, and you might have something there

Yeah, it's alright... just something we're whipping together.

BTW, the Ti rods for this build are the last forged set made by Cunningham. They no longer carry Ti forgings and have moved onto Ti billet. Back in 1997 they had 1000pcs of forged Ti blanks and have been completely sold out since 2000. This motor will be very sentimental.
