Default ITR springs/shocks/LCA on a 99 civic EX sedan?

anyone have this set-up? how does it work for ya? i'm interested in changing out my stock suspension because its real soft and going with the ITR cause its stiffer. should also lower the car about .5 - .7"

i can get it cheaper then new struts/springs thats why i'm asking, plus it should be a direct bolt in with the lower rear control arms. also how do you tell its real ITR, product codes on the struts?

Not sure about the direct bolt on thing. EK lower control arms are longuer than EGs and Integras.

I thought the lca fits on the ek.
I have seen a few with teins where they swapped the type R lca on it no problem

maybe it is a little different in length but I have seen it done with no problems

no the type r lca will not work on an ek the eg and cd2 share the same length rear lca but the ek is alot longer. yes it will bolt up but the fact is the suspension will be way off. because they are alot shorter. then the ek ones.

You could also try H&R OE Sports, they are pretty much the same as ITR springs, same drop, same spring rates (approximate). Neuspeeed also makes one I believe, Soft Sport or something like that.

If you want to stay OEM....

try getting some dampers from the SiR/Si (EM1) and using them with ITR springs and the ITR tophat bushings (this part is important)

We tried this setup years ago ('99) to be exact and still run it today on one of the EM1s in our "crew" (OMG..... haha )

Noticeable difference without a back breaking ride....compliant, controlled and not too low if five-O in your area hunt for lowered cars or if your roads seem more like gravel pits.
