Default H22a1: Confusion everywhere:NEED HELP and CONFIRMATION!!!!

Alright fellas, these are gonna be probably some simple basic questions that has already been gone over. The problem is that i've searched and searched and searched everybody seems to have different methods of doing this. This as in the H22a1 swap into my 96 lx accord.

My accord as of right now is an 96 lx AUTO accord. I plan to convert it to 5spd w/ H22a1. I have the entire front clip of a 94 lude waiting for me to put its engine in my car. I'd really appreciate it if somebody who has actually done this swap to have some input. The reason is, i have most of the parts EXCEPT for the motor mounts.

here's where i'm confused everytime i ask this question:

What mounts do I use on my accord for the h22a1 swap?

my answer is I have to use the lude driverside mount (timing belt side) which needs to be fabricated to fit. The rest i can use the 5spd accord mounts and brackets all the way around. BUT, this thread says differently :

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=798948

that thread says i can use the lude mounts with the lude rear bracket all the way around with the exception of the front mount because the lude front mount sits too low. see the confusion? That same thread also talks about the power steering pump and how i need to connect the prelude line to the accord part. What is that suppose to mean?

That's not the only thread that says i can use lude mounts or lude mounts are interchangable, there are many more out there. But there are also threads thats says DO NOT use lude mounts, ONLY accord mounts except for the driver side mount. Can somebody please clarify this confusion? If i could i would've just bought both lude and accord parts and tried it out myself. Problem is I dont have that kind of money nor do i have that much time to have my car immobile.

TIA guys, i'd really appreciate some input.

I have a 96 ex and put in an h22a and used all accord mounts except for the drivers side mount. I had to take the prelude mount, then have the hole filled and redrilled to get it to fit. Im sure there are other ways to modify the mount, but my uncle is a welder and driller so it was cake for him.

I'm using accord rear mount, prelude passenger side mount (b/c I lost the accord one and later found it sitting on top of my fuel filter after the motor was in)..and ofcourse prelude driver's side mount. Just make sure you use the passenger side 5 spd. mount and accord rear mount and prelude driver's side mount.

The rear h22 bracket will not fit in the accord. i tried it mistakingly and it would not budge, whereas the accord one went right in. Im not sure about the tranny one, i just know the accord one fits.

dvp95: thanks man, but there are other people that for some reason said otherwise...v4lu3s is running the h22 bracket i believe....kinda odd and confusing...again...

EDIT: what year is your car?

I'm doing a 5spd conversion along with the h22 swap......would the EX 5spd driverside axle and intermediate shaft work on my lx?

I noticed no one answered your question on the PS for your swap. I did the swap on a 94 with an H22 and used the stock Accord pump with a 97 prelude bracket and everything lined up perfect.

Your Accord Fuel rail will work, just swap them out.

alright guys...my auto to manual is completely done. Problem is i cannot get my engine to even turn on. I've wired the dizzy as according to all the diagrams and charts out there. the only thing left i can think of is that I have bad grounds or maybe i did something wrong with the dizzy wiring. I'm sooooooo exhausted i'm thinking about giving up on this car....can anybody help? I have an OBD1 h22a1 in an OBD2 accord LX, i'm using the accord harness....i'm sooo close guys.

another question is....where do all these miscellaneous tubes go? for instance...

this is located behind the h22a by the linkage....somebody....please tell me you know where all the tubes go? do i use all the h22 tubes?

Another question is...i believe the MAP sensor is on the prelude firewall for the h22, but the map sensor is on the TB for the f22. what am i suppose to do about that? Do i need to get the h22 MAP sensor or can i place the f22 sensor on? if so where?
