Take it to a dealership for service.

Or you could get fucked over like my ITR, I replaced the throwout bearing and the bearings on the mainshaft and it still whines!

does it whine in all gears? it is normal for a b-series tranny to whine in in first "when deceling" and reverse, if it whines in 2nd, 3rd, ex. then i would recomend checking your tranny fluid make sure it isnt to thick sae30 non-synthetic works fine, and if it still persists i would check the inputs and the intermediate shaft, it could also be the differential* my friend had a delsol b16a3 he had the tranny serviced they put some 90 weight bullshit in there we noticed it was whining the next day the diff. broke

it whines in all gears ONLY while cruising. It stops whining when i decel and accel. I just put a new clutch in along with the TO bearing. It kinda sounds like im in reverse all the time.

I have the same problem even after my clutch/flywheel change. The sound actually happened AFTER the pieces were changed. Then again, my so called mechanic did disappear and cancelled his cell phone service. But input shaft, throwout bearing, and pilot bearing seem to be the same answers I've got.

Weird thing is, after time (3 months or so), the whinning decreased considerably. Almost to the point where it sounds like it was never there.

Uhm my differential was bad and my del sol sounded like it was supercharged and it drove for a 100 miles like that. So yes it will drive, and it drove fine...just loud.
