I found an article online on how do disable the SRS light if you have installed an aftermarket steering wheel without removing the bulb. The source was a guy who had done it on his nsx, and I figured I'd try it myself. I can't find the page again to give him direct credit, though....

Anyway... under the steering column where you disconnected the cable reel, there is the SRS main harness... its big, yellow, female and has 6 pin-holes. If you face it down (so that the plastic tabs are facing to the floor of your car) and the pins are numberes 1 to 6 from left to right, then all you have to do is stick a bent paper-clip in teh harness to connect pins 4 and 6 (the rightmost pin is pin 6). Again, this is with the plastic harness pointing downwards, so that pin 6 is the pin on the side there the 2 downward-pointingf tabs are closest together.

Hope this can help someone, since I didn't want remove the bulb from my gauge cluster, so it helped me. I have a 5th gen civic, and the instructions were for an NSX, so I'm pretty sure they're good for most honda/acuras.
