Well some people here said it couldn't be done without swapping out the radiator support, and some said you can, well I decided to try it for myself. Heres what i got. perfect fitment! Only thing I really had to do was grind on the bumper support next to the headlights.

Before:

After:

As you can see. little if any gaps.

It's a lot cleaner, but now it seems like all of it was just a waste of money…

I like it though.

Personally, I like coupe’s with ’99-00
Sedans with ’96-98
Hatchbacks are all good.

Yeah it would seem like alot of money. But i bought the car riced out. Drove it til the kit almost fell off, and then some bitch hit me. So it was basically free thanks to her insurance.

Oh and its a coupe

Can you do a thorough write-up with pics that work to detail how you got the fitment so nice without having to change core supports?

I have a friend who really needs to know how to do this soon.

I did the same to mine and all I had to do was make a slit on the bumper to fit over the metal bracket next to the grill. Very simple, no gaps.

I found it better to trim that metal piece that was getting in the way to fit the bumper, and then just drilling new mounting holes.

Heres the original HT thread on the conversion. I basically did the same as him.
