Awesome work. This looks to be all custom work, but what I'd like to do is get the parts from a Japanese Ferio 4WD and put them in. Has anyone seen that done or have more info on it?

Looks like a modified CRV transfer case for the rear diff with the shitty CRV axles into shitty CRV hubs . Not that it takes away from the fabrication, but if I were going through the trouble to make a Civic RWD, I'd probably use a Chevy S10 rearend or, if I were serious about making torque, a Moser 12-bolt or Ford 9-inch.

Meh, it's still special. Ugly as sin though.

I agree that the CRV(maybe?) parts aren't ideal, but are you saying you'd want to swap in a solid rear axle? I guess if you were making a drag vehicle, but if it's a road car, why not find something with independent rear suspension. Maybe S2000, Mustang Cobra, I don't know - haven't researched - but I wouldn't go for a solid rear end.

Solid rear is cheap and reliable. My three S10's have handled just fine for little trucks.

If you were really concerned, you could look into 240SX pumpkins. They hold up alright.

I straight laughed when he said this, "This is the only Honda Civic that can be used in drifting competitions." I think someone should tell him about the RSR S2k.
