I am surprised how effective they are, I wonder how long it will be before they become mandatory like they have become for cars.

I'd guess rider position, and stoability of the unit.

but those are things that can be engineered into each application. its not they would use the same bag for all bikes. The only thing that I could see people for not wanting them on a sport bike is weight, but who knows how much weight the wholse system adds.

exactly... I'm sure it could be done... but will it be as effective?

L33T is bigger than the Beattles... bigger than breast implants.
As for airbags on a sportbike, it would be weird.

i dont think that itll be effective considering that people dont normally go 45 miles per hour on a sport bike, leave that to the old folks, on touring bikes, as for me , people who ride on a sportbike and crash at 75-120 speeds on highway, wont make it having an airbag... what ya think?

I think if you hit a stationary vehicle going 120 the biggest problem will be identifying your body.

yeah, probably, have you seen some of the motorcycle crashes they have out there on the net, i mean come on , you know if you have a sportbike, classified supersport, you know that your not going to go no 45 miles per hour on no street , unless school zone, right ? ? ?

Re: motorcycle airbags in action (L33T)
awesome video. if i'm not mistaken aren't t-bones the leading cause of death for bikers (cars turning left in front of the bike)? that definately looks like it helped a lot. the part w/o the air bag makes me quiver.
