PLEASE diagnose my car
I'm getting 16-17 mpg
out of my D16Y7 (stock)
I took it apart right now because I'm building a mini-me.
I measured the compression before taking it apart, and it was within O.E. specs
Some of the parts I'll be putting on when I assemble it are:
MSD-A6 ignition
Iridium spark-plugs
10.3mm spark-plug wires
Blaster coil
CAI
K&N air filter
Adjustable fuel psi regulator
Adjustable cam gear
2.25" exhaust
etc.
I'm sticking with a d16 because my pockets aren't deep enough for a full swap and I already have all the parts ready to go.
If the problem was caused by ignition, then it's no worries, because as you can see, I have a new one, but if it's something else, please tell me.

No more than 2K miles ago.
(But my dad has the same kind of civic, too, and has over 100K miles on the original fuel filter, still geting 28mpg).
