Default Huge Problem with ABS removal

for several reasons that arent presently important, i read up on the 'abs removal' for the 90-93 integra and so i attempted it...

i used the RS MC, stock abs booster, RS prop valve, and front RS hardlines. to bridge the gap to the rear, i used the old abs lines and bent them. removed all the abs junk, bled the system and went for a drive...

the pedal felt fine for a little while, but it was really high up, i noticed. but it was still driving normal. after a few minutes, i felt the car getting slower and the brakes were engaged while NOT braking. several minutes later, the brakes become fully engaged, like slamming them, but i wasnt; i was just driving. at this point, the brake pedal couldnt be depressed at all! The car became undrivable; i was toasting my brake pads, so i pulled over.
my question is what would cause so much pressure to build up in the brake system? If the rear lines that i bent were slightly crimped, could it cause this? please help. thanks for any help.

ummm....lemme see if I read this right. You removed the ABS yourself? You didn't go to someone who knew what they were doing? You mentioned crimped lines. That should have been a red flag NOT to drive your car. As for what's going on....I can't say. But next time...with something this important to your car such as a safety feature, if you don't have the experience and or knowledge to change/ remove/ repair it.....take it to someone that does even if it means paying the mechanic.

I'm pretty sure most people on this board who have removed their ABS did not got to a mechanic. Most mechanics probably wouldn't even know how to do it unless they were experienced Honda/import mechanics/tuners who had done that exact job before.

Your posts aren't helping his situation. What he's done is in the past. Either stop flaming and try to post something helpful to his problem, or don't post at all.

Exactly what I meant by taking to a mechanic. You just don't go to joe blow shop and have everything done without first checking into their background. Not doing so is like taking your car in for a tune up at a body shop. I've had a similar situation to his and I actually took it to someone who knew what they were doing because I didn't want to run the risk of messing anything up ONLY to pay out of pocket to have THAT fixed. I'd rather have it done right the first time so I won't have to go back in and re-do the job over and over again. If I came across offensive then my bad. And sorry if people these days have stopped using common sense.

I responded in kind to his snippy remark. I was about to post exactly what he needs to do, but I guess I'll follow your suggestion and not post anymore.
