LoL....thanks all you guys for sticking up for me....I just starting fiddling with the car and gotten pretty good...but now it's time to buy a service manual for my car so I can do more ......I'm having a good time doing stuff myself rather then paying someone

yeah its nice to work on new cars but when you have a car that is 6 years old and has seen the salty roads...it's not THAT fun heheh

 

It's not like the guy posted a damn topic asking what tranny fluid to use... The question came up in the context of the thread. If you don't want to help, then why bother replying?

how often do u change your trans. fluid??

 

If you drive the car hard, a tranny fluid change is recommended every 15k miles. If the car is driven REALLY hard (ie., track and autox), then change it every 5k - 7.5k miles.

 

normal everyday stop and go stuff driving...

 

I think the owner's manual says every 30k miles, but I wouldn't ever let it go more than 15k... Maybe I'm just paranoid though.
