Crank pulley nut on H22
It's threaded normally, torqued down to something like 180 ft lbs.
My buddy and I got his loose by using a 1/2 drive with a long breaker bar. I pressed really hard on it with my foot while holding on to the front of the car. After a while, it broke loose.

Yep.
Is the gun on the highest rate.
What compressor are you using?

If you are using a cheap *** walmart impact gun... try again. You'll need a 1/2 drive gun that is of craftsman/snap-on grade.
Also, try upping your air pressure to the gun. Sometimes I'll take mine up to 130-150psi when things don't want to come off.

i wish my cheezy compressor can push that kinda line pressure. stupid thing is regulated at about 120ish. though my IR gun can blast off most crank pulley nuts with ease.
but if your having trouble try shooting it on a few hits, then loosening it, it sometimes helps loosen a frozen nut. also try hammering the impact socket to loosen it. though my best suggestion would be to use a bigger gun or compressor.

i did mine by using a flat head on the flywheel and my friend used a breaker bar on the crank pulley bolt. i do it all the time make sure the flathead is jamed between the tranny real tight.it should work for you.

i have the same problem. but solve.. mine is fawken hard. i used two different 1000lb guns still didnt work.... but got it to work. without jacking up the car.
just let the car sit and turn the wheels all the way to the left so you could get your gun inside and shoot it out that help... if you jack the car up all the power of the gun will goes to the motor itself and no enough impack. in facts it will turn the motor over... wen you try to shoot it out... but you let the car sit there.s pressure on the motor .. go got more power to the bolt...... try that...if dont work try to heat it a bit and shoot it out.

I had to remove mine about 2 months ago and it took 1100 ft lbs to get it off, with a 1 in gun. When we finally got the bolt out it was dented up from the gun. You should have seen it it, the gun sounded like a canon.
Good luck!

i got mine off. had a friend with a pulley holder and i put my 1/2 drive breaker bar on the nut then a 3ft breaker bar on top of that and my fat *** jumping on that broke it loose
moroso makes that tool also, i have also used a pry bar on the ring gear on the fly wheel with a tranny bolt installed, this is considering the motor is outta the car and the tranny is seperated, other wise i use the air at my work, running 2 ingersol-rand like 90 gallon compressors running almost 200psi un regulated line pressure. Would maybe also recommend getting some PB Blaster to help loosen it up

^^^^^ The correct tool to use...
Using an impact gun to remove or reinstall the crank pulley bolt is no bueno for bearings, main bolts and tolerances...

I'm sure some of you have seen this, but I'll post it again....
