Have you priced all that? I'm also interested in a veerrrry similar setup. Right now I'm having 2k/mo after bills.. so I'm trying to have my d16 running 13s before january. we'll see.

I just make good money where I work and have been saving for a while to make my dreams a reality. But I've also learned that taking your time is the best rule any of us could follow. I've been doing research for this build for at least 6-8 months. I felt there aren't enough d- series ninjas in the game.

that is damn near the same build we jsut did in my friends car, but we went with .5m oversized bore to leave thicker sleeves(more room to overbore when we blow something).

i always thought on a d series a 1.8 is kinda 2 big, becuase the walls won't be as thick and can't take so much boost as like a 1.6 liter, but it has been done before, so good luck with that, 1.8 liter d series is hot

that's what I thought but with good head bolts and a good headgasket this should not be a problem. And I'm not gonna go crazy with boost if I do.

why build that engine with that compression if you were not going turbo, why not higher? looking for a happy medium? that engine, like someone said before, is just begging for BOOST!
