I am doing a mini me swap and I want to know if I shold do some thing to the block while the head is off to give me some more HP ? the - eng - will be turbo THANX GUY'S

 

is the motor still in the car, if so there is not much!

 

yeah, If ya have the head off you might as well take the whole damn thing out and give it a slight over bore and get some lower compression pistons and stronger rods so you can up the boost a little. Don't forget about rebalancing the crankshaft, replacing the oil pump, get stronger rod bolts, and replacing all the bearings. Are ya broke yet?

 

well thanx bro! I just have the cash to biled the head for now so I am not doing the block.

 

Well if you aren't gonna do anything to inside the block, you could take it to a machine shop and have them see if the top should be milled level, replace the headgasket, of course, and see if hondata has an intake manifold gasket for that head and I would at least try to replace the head bolts or main studs with arp bolts and studs.
