Buzzer disconect?
Hey guys, I just bought my Crx on saturday, and I have to slam the door several times to get the beeper to stop going off, I'm sure you guys have answered this question a hundred times but I didn't find anything from searching. Anyway I was just wondering where the beeper was located so I could unplug it, any help appreciated, thanks.

it is up in the seatbelt light, where the rear view mirror screws in, just unscrew thes 3 bolts and there is a plug behind it. unplug it and you wont have anymore beeping

He's talking about the door buzzer, which are the pin switches on the doors. You either need to replace the pins switches, go be ghetto and wrap some black electrical tape around the plastic "L" to fatten it up.

I tried the tape thing and its still goes off, probably need a new switch, but is there anyway I can just disconnect the speaker? Or whatever it is.

Is your domelight staying on also if so it is the door switch. In one case I had a friend who had one that would just keep buzing for no apparent reason. He tracked it to the fuse box, and then stabbed it with a screwdriver untill it quit beepeing.

yes, but the beeping comes from that box, so if he didnt want to fix the problem and just stop the beeping, unpluging that would stop it

Yea, unplugging that box will cure that beep. The civic's with seat belts on the doors have 2 sensors for the doors. The regular "L" shaped pin switch on the inside of the door jam, and they also have a switch thats built into the door latch on the inside of the door.
