Default Presidential Detailed: 2007 BMW 328i

This car is owner by a friend of mines mother. It is garage kept and kept up relatively well. There was very minimal swirling in the paint even over the year or so she has owned it, I think Ill give the credit to BMW's awesome clearcoat! I only had a day and a morning to work on this one, I spent most of the day just claying the car. In my experience with white cars, the most notable difference is before and after claybarring the vehicle. This car happened to have A LOT of fall out and exhaust soot embedded into the paint. Anyways on to the pics!

Looks great. I agree with BMW's clearcoat, it seems to be particularly resilient.

Dang. Great job, you can really see a difference.

I need to buy materials to detail the exterior.

yeah, it's probably like the recent mercedes and volvo who use the 'nano-particle' clear...i don't think it's "powder coat", per se', but it's very durable.

i've heard that the bimmers painted in the SC plant don't get that, but the german units do. dunno how true that is, but it certainly makes sense considering how tight the EPA is now with body shop ****.
