ctr pistons in b16

Default ctr pistons in b16

im a noob when it comes to internals, ill be the first to tell you. i was wondering, if i was to put a set of ctr pistons in my b16 will it pretty much be a drop in and go or so i have to worry about clearance issues or something with the head? not sure, sorry for a noob question, thanks guys

No clearance problems but you will have to get machining work done to get them to fit on stock B16 rods.

Yep 1mm off each side of the wrist pin side of the connecting rod.

Of course, just been distracted since I lost my license and all. Been cycling allot, been on those forums allot, I even started racing. I did the CTR pistons like 5 years ago, so I had to clear the cobwebs from that side of my brain, and share some tech.

I'm giving my B the last warming up it gets before I take the plunge but that will be in a few years with a house and possibly a vette on the way.

thanks, ill see about getting the rods down to the shop and having them machine the rods for the wrist pins, thanks
