No probs I have the CTR's in my b16 with no problems. They were designed to be used with the b16 platform.

They were designed to work with a 7mm taller deck and longer rods...

B16b(ctr) and b16a are two different blocks. The b16b is essentially the same block as a B18c(gsr). Even though its a 1.6, it has the same deck height as a b18c. Ctr's in a b16 will raise the compression of your b16 to over 11:1.

Yes, they will work fine, in currently running a b16a with ctr pistons, stock headgasket and skunk pro1's with no problems.
