Default temp problem

ok so I just put in a new temp sensor cuz I thought the old one went bad, but my temp guage still doesnt work and my ele. fan doesnt come on, and I know that its at the temp where it should come on. I tested the fan and it works, not sure about the guage, but the temp sensor is new. Whats wrong?

the engine has three temp sensors - the red is sensor for the ECU, the green is for the gauge and the blue is the cooling fan switch

oh ok, so it could be one of the other ones. ok well the one I replaced was for the fan switch so I might have to replace the ECU one cuz sometimes the check engine light comes on. thanks.

and another queston, on the cooling fan sensor, does it matter wich plugs go on the prongs? cuz there's two there and they're not labled or anything. thanks.

ok thanks, now one more queston, this is sorta off topic but oh well. that white sensor there beside the blue sensor, is that the oil pressure sensor? Im looking at getting a oil pressure guage and I was wondering if that was where you would plug that in. or where would you plug that in?

yes, that is oil pressure sending unit - most aftermarket electric oil pressure gauges require a matching sending unit that would go in that spot in place of the OEM sending unit
