Default S2000 valve job on B16a head

I'm thinking to try on a type r head the S2000 valve job.

Intake: 40° top cut; 1.20 mm. 45° seat; 67.5° to 82.5° throat cut.
Exhaust: 30° top cut; 1.40 mm. 45° seat; 67.5° to 82.5° throat cut.

It will run on this set up:
B18C5 block & crank, 81.50 mm. Wiseco pistons, 12:1 compression, Supertech valves, springs, aluminum retainer, IB Blox intake manifold, S2S2 cams, Hytech header and exhaust, Mugen intake, DTA S60 ecu.

Is there someone that tried it before?
Will it overperform the stock type r head cut?

At least the head porters should know the answer.

seems like that would work nice with a cam that has a decent amount of lift

I remember in an old topic Rocket recommending a 37.5° top cut, 47.5° seat, 62.5° throat cut, for the b16a head seats work, pretty similar to the S2000 seat angles.
The higher (47.5°) seat angle is supposed to performe even better with high lift cams.
Could be any reliability issue with the 47.5° seats?

And how large should be the top cut?

I'm waiting the head porters to come in!!!

I doubt you would have any serious longevity issues with a 47.5 degree seat. It's when you get up over 50-55degrees. Usually when you go the opposite direction more towards a 30 degree seat it helps low lift flow more, like on a restricted engine that can only run so much lift.

I think that it in theory it should work, it is coming from the all knowing great corporation that has us all obsessed with the H badge.

The only easy way to find out if it works is to do it and then flow it. Then if you feel like being nice, post your results.

Will you be getting form cutters made for this?
