ok so i am about to do the timing...i guess i am finding a green thing behind the glove box and i am supposed to jump it with a paperclip??? could somebody explain this to me and is it needed on my 97? also am i suposed to line up the mark with the vmark on the engine? please somebody help me out and explain this to me and pictures would be awesome but please help me out i want to do this tonight.

 

anyone know which connecter it is????thats all i need to know.

 

ok i got that down now the problem is that if the marks are supposed to line up with the triangle or v thing w/e that sticks off the timing cover (looks like its an arrow) than i am way off like maybe 1/8 of the pulley off.... could someone help me out where i need to line em up and how...also which of them to line up with this mark?

even though it's done on a b18 in the link, it's basically the same thing you're doing

 

sweet thanks man thats exactly what i was looking for and i did it and its all set now...i was 1/8 of the way around away from the 18 mark lol but it is solved thanks so much to every1 that helped out.
