more timing issues
Another thread/update on my 95eg. Bought a timing light and canot get the 3 lines to line up with the guides on the block the distributer only moves so far. so i figured ill check the timing belt i found out the head is a d16 vtech po8-2 (bottom is a d15b7). when i line up the cam pulley the single line either matches up or is slightly off depending how i line it up. i have the up mark at the top the left line closer to front of car i can line up pretty perfect but the opposite line closer to the firewall looks to be at more of an angle is this correct?.
Next issue is the crank pulley does not have the notches to get the tool in there to hold it in place to remove the bolt so i have not got the pulley off yet. But the timing belt is fairly lose i could pull part of it off the crank by hand but stopped incase i accidentally did pull it off.
Could my ignition timing be off because of the timing belt being off or loose?
Sorry for the long post i appreciate any help at all.
