I have had the interest of refinishing my wheels for quite some time now. As always i searched the topic, but only came up with this post from 5+ years ago that says there was no perfect match at the time. The post was never replied to as well:

With that being said, has anyone in the last 5+ years found a match??? My company recently branched and opened a new metal fabricating shop that has partnered with a company who blasts/powder coats wheels for a very reasonable price. My current dilemma is finding a powder to match. If anyone has information available them that would answer this question i would greatly appreciate the help.
Also... if there is anyone who has powder coated their wheels to a close match and has pictures to share, that would be appreciated as well. Thanks!

I've spoken to a powdercoater before about getting a CW powder. He told me it can be done, but I would have to order a full drum of the powder.

Ok... lets start the list for the group buy:
-Jon D
-Mugen Myke
Mike... on a serious note, did you inquire about what a full drum would cost. If it isn't too astronomical i would be willing to get it then distribute the powder as individuals needed it. At least it would then be available. Does it have a shelf life?

LOL, take me off that list - I don't even have OEM wheelz any more.
I did not inquire on cost of drum. I doubt it has a shelf life, but don't quote me on that.

Before this gets out of hand, i am not taking orders for people to have their wheels powder coated. If we were to get enough interest in a drum of CW powder, then i may look into purchasing it and distributing the powder for your personal or local shops use only.

I'd buy some CW powder from you if it were to happen.
Any idea on cost of a drum (assuming 50 Gal)... IIRC i paid ~$1.50/lb last time i picked up powder.

guys....i dont think powder coating involves special "powder" but rather regular paint that is applied in a specific manner by "atomizing" the paint particles.
of course, perhaps my reading on the subject is wrong

actually its not paint, theres no liquids involved at all, i dont know much about it either but i know its some kind of plastics that get ground up real fine and some resins and other stuff, then sprayed on like oversprak kinda.. but im in for takin some of that off your hands for my wheels jon.
I had a set professionally sandblasted and powdercoated the nearest we could find to CW (holding the samples to the car in daylight) and they came out great. I have another set of rotas that I did the same exact color and I'd help you out with all the photos on the OEMs but for some reason I'm getting some BS message about "mysql" crap when trying to access the we-todd-did-racing website.
Heres the rotas though, they're the same color code (same place, same paint both times) and I could find out the paint code if you like.

This would be greatly appreciated Scott
edit... so are we talking paint now, or were those powder coated as well? I was just confused bc you said paint code, and not powder/color code.

LOL. Back OT then, there is a powder coater here who can do the GM or CW and doesn't need an entire drum just to do your order. I can look into it if you'd like.

I have looked into the matter before. I didnt have to buy an entire drum, but it is quite costly. All the places I talked to wanted $400-$500 (starting) just for the custom powder order, plus regular service fee, and said it would take around 9 weeks for them to get the custom order.
