My car's roof is looking fairly ugly, the clear coat is flaking & fading.

So far to my understanding I only have a couple of options:

1. Re paint it

2. Spray bomb, sand, spray, sand, clear, sand and then a clear.

3. Carbon fibre (to me not a viable option)

Curious as to what method's people are using/used to fix this problem..
