Default H2B Adapter Kit - quartersportsdrag.com - Excellent Support.

http://www.quartersportsdrag.com/H2B.htm

I originally posted this to find out if this kit was really on the market and who had really ordered. Since i started the thread, these are some of the good threads i've found about the product. I'm continuing to post links and other things i've found out.

There are some kinks.. not many, and Seth Townsend at QuarterSportsDrag is fine tuning the kit. Making changes. Nothing is Finite, they have changed things on certain customers setups to repair things they didn't get to field test (like obd0 starters vs obd1 starters)
They're compensating for those defects you may read about on some of these posts. They send replacement parts to those customers, to fix defects, for free. Then they modify the next kits being sold so they don't have the same problems. Perfect. Excellent Technical support is making them a big name, fast.
I look forward to being one of their customers in August.

EDiT 7/16/05:
Talked to Bserious (# is on the website)
Guy knows it all, far as i can tell. I've got alot of research to do so i don't get in over my head.

Issue #1, hood clearance. I need to find or make a hood that will clear this sucker.
In the mean time i'm going to cut out and rivet on a bump works.. right LOL

If it was in a mag talkin about how it's available to the masses, cool
If its joe-shopowner that has it, we already know it can be done and works great. If i had the time to make it from scratch i would too.
I need to know, where can i buy it lol

it's looking like right after i move into my new house in August, i'll be ordering the engine and this kit. Going to try to keep the final cost under 4g's and sell my B16 as a complete swap for 1400 or so. Still unsure of the engine position with Hasport B series mounts. Need more info on that. I would like the engine as high as possible for maximum ground clearance. I'll have the same hood that fits the K series so it's no biggie to raise it an inch or 2. just need to cut away some firewall and inner-fender on either side i think.
This kit doesn't come with engine mounts does it?!?
*please don't PM me about buying my engine yet *

Niko-Zai,

Search a little better, there are a few on her publicly using the kit.

We first released the kit June 1st. None were sold before then. Most of the enthusiast purchasing them are full drag setups, and have not yet made it too the track.

This coming BOTI in Fontana, 7/30/05, should have a few displaying the setup.

oh suuuure you reply and don't give me any links to these relevant posts you speak of.
Man, it's your product, sell me on it!! Some people =P

i'm just playin, I like you, i just was hoping some of those people would chime in with their opinions thus far. I made this thread to help figure out if this is really what i want.. its so hard since this is such a new setup, need to hear some people tell me the like/dislikes of it all.

What RPM are you cruising at in 5th at 70mph and how does it feel on that engine?
This isn't for a drag setup, would you say it's comfortable to drive around?

And i just want to add to my lil thread of information here that B Serious mentioned in another H2B thread that the H22 sits high, not low, with B series mounts.
So It won't have ground clearance issues afterall.

Correct. The 2 clearance issues to overcome are hood clearance, and pulley clearance.

is it just a matter of getting the PS part of the pulley machined off?

goin to look at a 91 CRX Si w/h22 and LS tranny tomorrow for $2000 (not great but not horrible). Guy made his own adapter plate and mounted the engine/tranny already. Hopefully it's the same thickness as the 1/4sports kit so i can easily swap it with his full kit. He stopped at the axle setup.. need the spacers etc.

EDiT: Went to see that CRX, what a pile of ****. It'll go to the crusher. I bet the block is rusted out too.
