BS. Talk to someone that owns one. It is critical whoever that builds it knows what they are doing. I had my lsvtec for a little over 3 yrs. Still running strong. The only thing it leaked was my stock cam seal. But that still happens with stock or modded gsr's.

jesus christ... Chicknapper is a ****** retard.. who is that guy??? Oh well just as b18bvtec4drteg said, a properly built LSVTEC shouldn't leak at all... It actually should hold up just as well as any other DOHC VTEC motor but there are just several weak points that aren't even that bad... #1 the stock rods, and crank aren't as stong as their VTEC counterparts...., the blocks themselves aren't as strong or meant to be reved sky high... Again they still hold up fine... Build it right and you'll be set... The only places I could think about an LSVTEC over say a B16A/B, B18C/1/5 is through the oil feed journal... As long as you plug it right it should be cool... Any other place is just gonna leak as a normal motor that isn't built right... ie the cam seals, main seal, oil pump seal, headgasket, cam cap, distributor o-rings, etc... Peace

Not anymore than a normal car... Again as long as it's built right and you break it in correctly you should be fine... It's just like any other built motor... The downside to the newer B18B and B20B/Z motors is the lack of the PCV system... It's a good idea to put a catch can on them because of their tendancy to pull oil through the breather... Laterz
