Loading suspension??? how do you exactly do that?
When buttoning up the suspension, Ippei loaded the
suspension before torquing the bolts on that respective
corner. "This is a key point," Ippei tells us. "The
suspension must be loaded before torquing the pivot
bolts, to prevent the stock one-piece rubber bushings
from 'winding up' and restricting suspension
movement."
That is from the overboost site...when installing the tein ss' on a integra, anyways, i'm gonna install my ss's when i get them next week, and would just like to know exactly what you do when u load the suspension...is it just jacking up the bottom of it, till the shock is fully compressed and then torque that pivot bolts after just doing that once??
Someone has to know this one! please let me know! gracias amigos!
it basically means to put the car normal ride height before you torque all the pivots down.

If you look at the picture where he is loading the suspension, it looks like he is just jacking it at the bottom to compress the shock or something, i don't know, could someone please explain what i have to do exactly!
tonyxcom...what do you mean, put the car normal ride height? to put all the wheels back on, and drop the car to the ground then torque them down?
Okay.... i don't know how the hell to add links, this is the address to view the picture!

You dont have to put the car on the ground, you just want to put the suspension as close to normal ride height as you can. You can do it with jacks.
I think the helms manual recommends jacking up the lower control arm just to the point where the jack mounting point on the car comes off the jack stand. Be careful.
