b16a2 sleeve or not

Default b16a2 sleeve or not

just got my block bore to 81.5 do i need to sleeve the block if I'm going to boost going for 400-500hp

That was because of the tune or detonation. Its not about psi its about the tune

You want to sleeve if your going to boost more than 16 psi.
Why waste money and chance a blown engine get it sleeved and boost all you want.
But what do I know ?

The best and safe option always is to get it sleeved for that added protection, but do you really want that much power? Have you ever driven or rode in a honda with that much power on the street? Assuming this is a street car and not a track car 366hp in my friends stock sleeved gsr hatch spins 1st,2nd, and a bit of 3rd with geforce tires. You can make big power on the stock sleeves but tuning is key as with any build sleeved or not.

yea these guys dont know what they are talking about.... they are only the best in the business... but seriously i have built a few motors with these sleeves and tuned a bunch i also use them in my personal car and they have never let me down great company in my opinion
