2.7L Accord V6 - Custom Headers, Downpipe, Exhaust Line install
There is no aftermarket for 5th gen V6 so I'm giving options to others with them and making my ride the test car with benefits. The downpipe and headers are larger then stock but using the similar bends. We'll refine the downpipe once spring arrives ... I'm just so happy with the results
Header Primaries Diameter - 2"
Downpipe Diameter - 2.5"
Exhaust Line - 2.5"
Muffler - 2.5"
Keep in mind that these are `test`headers. The welds are not clean. It`s to check for fitment and flow. If they work I will keep them, but I will be selling the kits I make with clean welds with MIG precision
Did a Dyno Too ...
Dyno'd 172.8 WHP !!
Car drive so good now.
She's getting a full paint job right now.
Cannot wait to get her back ...

Good effort and a most worthwhile project.
I do agree with your observation that the y-Pipe (Downpipe(s)) assembly will need to be reworked. The angle in which the two downpipes merge is problamatic. They should both be pointing downstream.
I'm going to shut up now and let you guys get on with it.
Good Luck in your endeavors
