Default 2.5 downpipe 3 inch xhaust bad idea?
2.5 downpipe to a 3inch exhaust any disadvantage in doing that? i would go with a three inch DP but i want to keep my A/C so i'm staying with the 2.5.......so should i stay with a 2.5 inch exhaust or is it worth getting the 3' ?

You'll be fine. Better to go from smaller to bigger than bigger to smaller.

i'd say it would be fine to keep a 2.5 inch downpipe and 2.5 exhaust


but it would be better to run a 2.5 downpipe with 3'' exhaust.

im doing 2.5 flares to 3 and 3 inches all the way back

BTW: If you need a test pipe that goes from 2.5" to 3" let me know..I have one brand new.

I have a 2.5 inch downpipe and 3 inch exhaust. I plan on upgrading to a 3 inch downpipe when I build my motor though.

I did a 2.5" downpipe to 3" exhaust so I could keep my AC, expecting 400whp when tuned.
