After cleaning off the plasti gauge I found this small burr protruding from the bearing. I cleaned everything before putting it together so I think the scissors I used has some grit on them that stuck to the plasti gauge when I cut it. Talked to a buddy and he told me to use a razor blade to knock the high spot down and as long as it was smooth to the touch it should be fine. I deburred it and retorqued it and pulled #4 cap back off to double checked and it all looked fine. The motor spins smoot

Got my block back from the machine shops. It was sized to the 84.5mm pistons for .002" p2w clearance and decked because there was some rough spots on it.

Made small pieces of lexan to replace the trim pieces back here. I think it adds a nice touch.

Painted the shell Satin black yesterday. Still need to finish cutting some stuff under the wiper cowl and paint the front half of the interior.

Started on doing the lexan. It's held on with heavy duty Velcro from Home Depot. Inside edges sprayed satin black to match. Really happy how this quarter panel glass turned out.

Picked up this sweet b18a1 "type r" valve cover tonight lol. I think I'm gonna run it for a while, I really like how shitty these older valve covers look lol.

Started on building the fuel cell. Gonna have my buddy tony weld it up then make the top plate for it with a filler neck and weld a couple of spare an fittings on it and run a inline Walbro 255lph pump.

Got these for a steal. Hoosier r6 in 225/50/15 for the crx. Definitely needed a little more diameter then the 195/50/15s offered

Rough cut on the exhaust ports. Waiting on a bunch of small flapper wheels for clean up.

This is my b20 block filled with moroso block filler. Still need to have it bored and honed for the new pistons. I'll update my build threads on what it makes and whether it holds up or not. I filled approximately the top 1" of the coolant jacket with the block filler after looking at a css cut away showing how deep they did their block support.

Block is all cleaned. Ready to take it to the machine shop to get sized for the pistons and decked. Dollar tree oven cleaner works amazing for nasty oil build up.
