Finally alive. Runs good. Seems to burn a bit of oil off throttle and then on again at higher rpm. Suspect valve seals as Vacuum is high then. Too lazy to do know. Future jakes problem.

So my mom just bought a house and gave me full access to the garage for the next leg of this build. I have always wanted to learn how to weld, so i bought a Lincoln Mig welder and decided to set up shop here. Time for boost

Also time for bed. will continue this later in the week. Any feedback is appreciated.

So i set up my lincoln welder and was too eager to wait for a bottle of Gas. Decided to play with the flux core... which seriously sucks and i bought a bottle of Gas the next day. But this is my coolant catch can.

So goals for this leg of the build. Relocate battery to trunk, partial wire tuck, relocate fuse panel to cabin, delete power steering, delete windshield washer, and a clean turbo install. I know the turbo parts are cheap. But this project is to teach myself fabrication and how to tune. When i blow this setup up, thats when i will shell out $$ for a proper setup.

Its hard to find time for this build, i work full time and overtime often, and have a wife and kid to spend a lot of time with. But i find staying up friday nights with coffee or beer is the best time to get stuff done

I bought some bends and was eager to start welding. I mounted my intercooler and decided to just jump into welding without learning the settings on my machine first. that was a mistake. burnt a hole in my intercooler mount bracket.

Through a series of trades i came across another set of 15" heliums in silver. A quick trip to dads and they were color matched to my valve cover.

Cut a hole in the bumper and started trimming for charge pipes and intercooler. It took a longggg time to trim everything. i didnt want to do too much. I found the best way to cut the plastic was to scribe it multiple times with a razor and snap it off.

i used some spare neochrome extended lug nuts to mount my intercooler. They just poke threw the bumper. match my neochrome subframe brace in the rear, i like small details that can be easily overlooked.
