Default tires question

I was doing some research on Yokohama Advan Neova AD07 195/50R15 82V
tires and found some really good reviews on them but can't find any retail price on this size but only 16 inches. Do any of you guys out there happen use these tires...especially this size of tires and know the retail price to them? There's a local guy selling his (all brand new) for $400 and I like to compare this price to retailers.

any help is appreciate ^_^

The AD07 has been discontinued and replaced in Yokohama's lineup by the Advan Neova AD08. Also, that size was never available in the United States, so you wouldn't find a price on them anyway. (Did he have them imported? Make sure he's not confusing the model or size with another tire.)

Your choices of similar tires for 195/50-15 consist of the following:

Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 $120/tire plus shipping from Tire Rack
Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec $105/tire after rebate plus shipping from Tire Rack
Toyo Proxes R1R $96/tire plus shipping at Tiresdirect.net and Treadepot

So that's not what I would consider a red-hot smokin' bargain, but it will still save you a little bit of money on shipping (typically $15/tire) compared with buying from a dealer. I would consider $300 a fair price, $400 is pushing it.

I haven't seen the real tires yet but i saw a picture of these tires and the stickers are still on the tires. He did said these are Super Rare Size!195/50R15 82V tires he bought it from Japan. <--- that might have been the reason why I cannot find that size here in the US. He is selling it for $400 (brand new) for all 4 tires, is that a good deal on these tires?

No more so than any other brand. And like any other brand, they make a lot of different tires, including sticky tires for performance driving, and longer-lasting tires for a combination of value and performance. If you want sticky tires like the AD07, they're just not going to last that long.

You can expect maybe 15K miles to a set. Maybe 20K if you're gentle and you're fastidious about rotating them, checking pressures, etc, but that would be an upper limit, and they're more likely to last 15K.

If that's not enough for you, then don't get any of the similar tires mentioned above, either. If you're willing to sacrifice a little bit of performance in exchange for a longer-lasting (and less expensive) summer tire, consider the Yokohama S.drive.

I don't really mind the milage I can get out of the tires but mostly mind of good handling tires both on summer and rain. My car will only be driven in summer time. I have three set of wheels so I won't be using the same set all the time so that should make those tires last longer for me.

I did my research and found some really good review on those tires.

Since I have wheels size of 15x6.5 15", will 195-50-15 tires fit perfectly without shaking when go on high way?

They should fit perfectly.

Shaking has nothing to do with the tire and wheel size.
