Are they really worth the money? What is the advantage of the extended, besides not scrating ur wheels?

I was thinking about getting Zenki way more affordable and they're forged ligh weight. I just don't have any reviews on them. Maybe you shold take at look at them before getting those Rays, they're about half the price

i hate my ******* rays lugs.
expensive. they bind to the keys, and the finish is scratching after installing them for the first time.
they do look pretty, though. and they're light...
the extended lugs are for use w/ extended studs, but people like to use them bc they look cool.
i got the extended ones b/c they look cool.

yup, they scratch hella easy. almost more of a hassle if you ask me but oh wells.

i like the gorilla spline drive lugs i got when i bought some wheels at america's tire. cost me $20 for a set of 20, and they're durable and the key is easy to use.

I'm rockin these as well, and I'm very satisfied. I've taken off my wheels at least 4 or 5 times since I put the new lugs on, and the finish is still like new
EDIT: They are forged as well, and available in many different colors, and extended/regular
EDIT the EDIT: http://www.jlbmotorsports.com , This is the place I got mine from, I was very satisfied with their service. Only problem is, they only carry the normal length lugs.

A friend and I each had 2 sets of zenki lug nuts that where red but fadded within a couple weeks to pink, the people who I bought them from said I could trade them in for new ones, so I got some black ones and some of them fadded to crome and some are still black. They suck, some of them are harder to take off than others.

Hell yeah, mine are black and the finish has held up every time I've taken the wheels off. I got them @ http://www.evasivemotorsports.com

i've got gram lights so i went the extra step and got the blue rays lugs, they look so good combined with my wheels, if they bind, just put thread goop (?) on the threads of your studs, makes the lugs go on hella easier...

they're not binding in that direction. all my studs are anti-siezed anyway.
it's when i put even a small amt. of torque on the key + lug, the key sticks to the lugs, and i need to back it out to separate the 2. this is incredibly annoying, especially when i'm in a hurry.

. I also hear everyone talking about light weight lugs, how much weight do you actually save?
My generic lugs cost me $30 (for extended studs, and yes I have them
), and I don't see how they could be any lighter weight. they are silver and show no signs of wear after taking wheels on and off at least 15 times.

When putting them on a friends car they didnt scratch maybe your just not careful enough

the point is, one shouldn't have to be "careful" with lugs.
i'm using an impact to take them off, and i will always use an impact to take them off.
my mistake for buying them, yes, and i realize that i don't totally hate them b/c yes, they do look so JdM FrESh, but they could use a design revision.

it says hand tighten only or something like that</TD></TR></TABLE>
never use an impact wrench to tighten lugs...
this is a basic rule that i'm sure they meant to convey for the sake of preventing x-threading. (i don't tighten with the gun, i remove with the gun...also)
however, i haven't met a race team in the world that removes lugs with a breaker bar, except for WRC drivers midstage.
furthermore, thinking that perhaps the 220 ft-lbs from the gun was too much and led to the binding, i hand tightened a few, and torqued to 80 ft-lbs, which led to the key binding to the lug anyway.

. I don't take off my rims enough to have them bind on me, but I don't think they'll fade in color over time like the cheaper brands do.
