question about width/offset for a 2000 Civic

i have searched the forum but ive yet to find what it is i need, im in the market for buying new wheels... i drive a 2000 honda civic sedan... i found the wheels that i want but before buying i wanted to know what mods are needed to run 15x7 +25 offset?... will it rub or can i modify it to run with out having any issues? oh and the vehicle is auto x about once a month and it is my daily driver

tire size that is closest to stock is 205/50-15 but even with rolled fenders and negative camber settings you still may rub depending on how low your car is.
Actually, 195/55-15 is closer to the stock size of 185/65-14, but either size (205/50 or 195/55) might work okay (and either one may rub, as you point out).
That's part of the issue, but offset matters too. Either of those tire sizes can be mounted on 15x7 rims, and either should work - as long as your rims have the right offset for maximum clearance in the wheel wells. I'm not that familiar with which offsets work best - maybe Opossum Jenkins can answer that question.

cool thanks for the help... so will a 15x7 +25 offset with a 205/50 15? just all depends on ride height and a little camber?
