Which one?
Looking for a set of all season tires. Not too sure yet if I should go 205 or just 195 but they will be going on a 91 crx hf and a 95 civi coupe, both MT. I'm looking at the "Yokohama AVID T4" & "Kumho ECSTA ASX"
Anyways I'm sure both will do good in dry, not sure which one will actually be better in rain, but want them to perform well/great (if not great good) on snow like say maybe a good 3-8 inch of snow-midwest. Also would like less road noise. So which one of the two should I good with? Any personal good/bad experience on one of two? Read the reviesw they had wasn't too sure, didn't have too many HONDA reviews so like to hear from you guys. Or if there's something else a bit better that's not too pricey let me know. TIA
BTW: they'll bee mostly for daily driving and a bit spirited drive here and there

You don't mention what size wheels you have.
The size tires you need for both your cars is 175/70-13 for 13" wheels, 185/60-14 for 14" wheels, 195/50-15 for 15" wheels, and 205/40-16 for 16" wheels. The only one of those sizes that the ASX comes in is the 205/40-16; if you have 16" wheels, get the ASX. I recommend the Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position in 185/60-14 if you have 14" wheels. Both these tires are MUCH better than the Yokohama all-season you mentioned.

Yeah I knew I forgot something
but I wasn't able to post...but it's a 15" aftermarket rim...so you think I should stick to the 195 and not 205? I'm sure the crx could handle the 205, civic should be okay if not
I'll just keep it on the crx? The tires you mention will it be able to perform in winter, being the most important thing. I mean yes there are winter tires but I don't want to go through having different tires and changing them. Not scare of snow or anything just don't want car(s) sliding off and being hit/crash/whatever. Rather just take all season that performs decent/well/good/whatever on 1-8 inch of snow
But yeah sorry I forgot that...yeah they're 15"....so "Yokohama" isn't all that?

Yes, you should stick to 195/50-15. Unfortunately, neither of the tires I mentioned is available in 195/50-15. Other all-season tires are available in that size, including the Toyo Proxes 4, Falken's new ZE-912, and Nitto NT-450, all in the $50-60 range.
So then which one out of those ( Toyo Proxes 4, Falken's new ZE-912, and Nitto NT-450) that does have the size 195 is the next best thing I should look into getting considering my need for decent/good snow grip? All-season? Thanks.
Just woundering saw on craiglist someone selling a set of "Enkei RF-1A" 15X7 said to be "good" condition. I won't have a hard time finding tires for these if I choose to buy them no?
if you want to have a look? $275 good deal don't you think or should I just pass?

Though because of the many spokes, I think they'll get dirty too easy from the brakes...?

All three are all-season tires that should be okay in snow. They're all similar in price. I don't know; if it were my car, I would probably try the ZE-912, to see how it is. (The ZE-912 is the new, improved version of Falken's ZE-512, which is not the best, but neither are these other two.)
If you're looking for mail-order prices, Vulcan sells it, among other places.

Well, I can't tell you what looks good to you, and I'm not familiar enough with them to tell you whether or not that's a good price. I do think 15x7 is too wide for 195/50-15 tires; you could mount them, but I think you're better off with 15x6 or 15x6.5. Also, you're right - the more spokes, they get dirty easy and they're tough to clean. Looks like that listing is gone now...
