Looking for some new tires and would like some input.
Car is a 1999 Honda Civic Si.
Tire size 195-55-15
I am looking for an overall good tire I can use year round (snow, rain ect...). I do not race or need some fast wearing sticky tire.
I currently have Kumho Ecsta ASX's and really have no complaints with them. They didn't wear to fast and they drove nice. Before I buy another four I was wondering if there is anything else I should consider in that group that offers similar or better performance? Cost is a consideration too.
Thanks

That's what i figured. I was on tire racks site and looked at how they rate all the high performance all seasons and the Kumho was the highest rated that came in this size but it was still 10 down on the list.
How come the tire size is so uncommon from tire manufacturers?

195/55-15 isn't that uncommon. The problem is that most of the very best all-season tires (the ones the Tire Rack calls "ultra high performance all-season") are pretty expensive, and because they're so expensive, they tend to get bought by people with newer and/or more expensive cars that have bigger wheel sizes (16" or 17" and up). The Kumho ASX is one of the few tires in that category available for 15" wheels (and, fortunately, it tends to be less expensive than the others). When you look at other performance categories of tires, there are more choices in 195/55-15. There are also lots of choices of winter tires in that size.

Wow, that's absolutely TERRIBLE advice, for someone who plans to use the tires in snow, cares about value, and doesn't want "some fast wearing sticky tire".
