quick tire size question..
my friend just got some 15x7 rota drags for real cheep brand new .. but they don't have tires and i was wondering what tire size he should run on them? i don't know if it will help but his car is lowered like 3 inches..... i run 40 series on my 16's but i don't know what tires size .. i know sounds like dumb noob question but i don't know **** about tire sizes thanks alot guys
The proper tire size depends on what kind of car he has - model (Civic, Accord, etc), year, body style (coupe, sedan, wagon), version (EX, LX, etc), and, for the Accords, engine (4 cyl vs V6). If you can provide that information about his car, we can tell you what size is best.
he has a 95 civic coupe 4 banger..... but wouldent that only matter for the stock tire sixes for the stock rims? im just wondering not trying to correct you..... thanks for the reply and any further help

Then the tire size he needs is 195/50-15.

No. There are characteristics, such as the amount of room in the wheel wells, and the conversion of revolutions to miles by the speed sensor, which matter for any size you want to use, and which determine whether the tire size is too big or too small for the car.
Three inches is a lot of lowering. If 195/50-15 rubs, he may need to change the suspension to undo some of the lowering.
